Okay, my lovlies, today is the day.  I am looking forward to be a faithful blogger. Okay, you actually heard me say..a faithful blogger.....(this is where you cheer me on!)..

We are under construction.  I will soon be dreaming & creating in a new barn/studio/shop!

Family Vacay in Destin

Vacation...time for some to relax...kick it back...that's how it is for my family. No schedules. Our time together is a treasure. Pictures? I took loads..but, only a handful of mini-videos..here's a clip using videos only...why do I like the videos? My Dad always filmed special occasions...to see my Grandparents...my youthful parents, playing with my brother & I on vacation...they are truly treasured by all..I have filmed my boys all throughout their lives...I love to view them, see them move, smile, cry, walk, crawl, laugh & talk....watching our family movies is always special...

A Good Ole' Louisiane 4th of July Celebration!

Happy 4th! Last night we enjoyed fireworks on the river....Spent today with family at our farm in Arkansas...then headed home to watch Frenchmans Bend's fireworks...they did not disappoint........the fridge is loaded with ribs, sausage & all the fixin's...aiyee...life is good...God blessed America...

The Joys of being Mom

It's been a full week. Between laundry, cooking, cleaning, painting, clean-up, shopping, running to the post office, working out...life seems like it's a marathon...sometimes I think I can't do anymore....but then, comes my favorite part of the day ..it's often after the dinner dishes are cleaned up...it's my favorite, not because the day is over, but because it's then my husband & I slip out onto the front porch...he on his swing & I in my rocker (he swings to big & often for me!)..we sip on fresh hot coffee...& just be...most nights the boys step out to be with us...it's those times I treasure, when life is worth it all... No craziness...just peace, just laughter, just love & it's just wonderful. That's what keeps me motivated to take on a new day.
