What is it about the Douglas Fir that reminds me of Christmas? Living in a house full of men is never without adventure...our yearly hunt for the family Christmas tree will commence this weekend...Against all odds...after the annual sizing up of the trees and the final verbal Christmas tree call ("Just pick one!")...the Young family Christmas tree will be loaded in the back of the truck like a prized buck....

Here you have it.

"The heavens declare the glory of God;the skies proclaim the work of his hands.Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world." Ps. 19:1-4

That's why I use nature in my art.
